ALS READING GROUP September Meeting

Date: Wednesday, September 13, 2017

Time: 10:30 am

Place: Calabria 252, Barcelona

We are kicking the new term off with a shorter story called “Sweetness” written by Toni Morrison who received the 1993 Nobel Prize in Literature. This story shows the complex relationships that can occur between a mother and daughter and asks the reader to think about the hierarchy that exists within race. The story is an excerpt from Morrison’s novel “God Help the Child,” Please join one of our great teachers for an interesting discussion in Pascual Restaurant. The cost of this activity is 6€. REGISTRATION IS A MUST, so that we can send you a copy of the story in advance. If we do not have a minimum number of people the activity will not take place. For further information and to register please contact us through our form on our web page www.alangserv.com or by phone at 656 388 721. There are times when sweetness is unhealthy.
